Calling all Jayco Eagle owners - will a Weber Baby Q (the new one with the higher lid and temp guage on front) fit in the storage area where gas bottles are kept in the new model Jayco Eagle Outback? Buying BBQ for hubby's bday this week but we don't have the camper yet. It will have two gas bottles - does the second infringe on space for a Weber in that storage area?? Hopefully someone out there can tell me! Thanks heaps x

I don't have a Jayco BUT do have a Weber....the top comes off (and very easy to do).
I have the same issue with my Lotus, just a tad too high to fit in the front boot but with the lid off no drama's at all......that "might" help your planning.
Happy roasting!!

Without knowing your vehicle type could I suggest that you, as I do. carry the Webber in the car. We have a dual cab Triton and the bbq sits upon a milk crate containing other small stuff, secured with an occy strap.
As an aside I would suggest running an occy strap over the lid to secure it from vibration, the lid can crack as my travelling companion can assert from a previous trip.
I have had a gas bayonet mounted just behind the rearmost wheel so I don't have to carry a separate gas bottle for the Webber.
Cheers Neil
