leave tomorrow on way to kimberleys could take 6 to 8 weeks to get there [no jokes about under powered nissan diesels] going to visit alot of national parks on the way. thanks to this sight I have been able find about everything I need to prepare us for this trip, keep up the good work. hope to work up there for dry season [tourist season] will hope to see a lot of you up there will keep an eye out for a old red & white nissan patrol on way up, will join when I return. bon voyage

Best time to go. A bit hot but you will find most of the creeks along the Gibb R Rd will still be flowing. Lota of good
places to
camp and almost zero traffic. The road will be a bit rough from the pentecost onwards as it will not have seen a
grader from before the wet.

Jan & I are heading that way on
Easter Monday. We will be spending a week or so with friends at Cape Keraudren and then on to
Broome and GRR. We envy those who have time to spend getting there but I guess we should be so fortunate to spend a couiple of months in the
Kimberley. Our first time, apart from a short trip to
Broome a couple of years ago. 8 weeks and three days and counting......
