Not exactly sure BT, but if I recall correctly the RV was just tricked up with a few extra bells and whistles ... RV = Recreational Vehicle.
No real difference mechanically, but I may well be off the mark.

And bucket seats, carpet and flares on front mudguards. Think they had full size "fast glass" too, with no quarter glass windows.

Not sure about the other stuff but I am pretty sure they came standard with three front facing rear seats together with seat belts instead of the longitudinal bench variety.

Thanks everyone.
Just struggling to find info online. Just wanted to make sure no difference regarding the motor.
If someone has stuck a turbo timer on one, does that mean he has mucked around with original turbo? Or is it just an after market accessory. I'm aware of there purpose I just also know they didn't come out with one.. Such a large purchuse has got me a little paranoid..
Thanks again

Motor (and all the mechanical stuff) is no different.
Turbo timer is a plug in aftermarket accessory
The major differences are covered by Bob, but here's a list off the top of my head:
16x7 mags instead of splits
Flared front guards - they were better than aftermarket flares
Chrome trim on gutters, grille and front bumper
Double DIN stereo with electric aerial - radio/cassette on the pov pack models
Remote central locking with 2 remotes
A clock!
electric windows
Cloth front bucket seats (x2) with small centre console
Aluminium side steps (not steel)
Front carpet (not vinyl)

There was also a limited edition model called "Muster" which had mags, flares, Double DIN stereo and aerial but still had the standard 3x vinyl seats and floor.

The RV was the top of the line and was replaced by the GXL so the specs would be similar between todays version.
