I found Tank Cleen from BCF worked well for my new poly tanks.
Probably available elsewhere also.
Cheers

What brand are the components troopy?

If you fit "Pope" brand water grade hose you'll never get rid of that horrible plastic taste! You'll have to replace it.

Others may have similar info on other components?

Cheers,

Kevin....... :=)

On the undertray tank on my last vehicle I'd get a plastic taste for the first 500mls - then it would go away if I kept running the water - so I knew it was the hose and not the tank. If you get the same, then replace the hose. AS above with Kevin, do not buy Pope brand water hose. The Nylex and Neta brands are OK.

if you fill up your water tank with garden hose from town water the chlorine burns the inside of the hose you must change all your hose to the blue double lined hose and no more tast
if you fill up from a rain water tank it does not mater what hase you use
