can't say I've used that rack for any of my Yaks but should be ok with a bit of plumbers pipe insulation foam to cushion - or even a pair of those universal carriers a bit lower down in your link.

Should be OK as long as your number plate isn't covered in which case you need to buy the extra plate from the transport dept in your state. Thule and Rhino both do something similar but a double the price or you could fabricate your own starting with the bottom half a a bike carrier
