Have just returned from another stay at
Tilmouth Well Roadhouse, and unlike the previous reviewer, we found that, as always, we experienced nothing but entire satisfaction for our stay. The food was not only excellent, but the serves were too big for us to manage, so that the property dogs scored
well! $28 for a beautifully cooked scotch fillet steak, served with fresh (not frozen) vegetables seems to us to be really good value, especially considering that T.W. is not exactly just down the road from the nearest supermarket! All of the staff,
young staff included, were friendly and efficient, and attentive to our needs. The cabin and bathrooms, spotlessly clean, the beds comfortable so as to ensure a good night’s sleep! Lovely gardens in which to relax, a swimming pool, interesting walks, tranquility. All set up for the comfort of the guests. To us, T. W. is the perfect place to head for when in need of a short getaway from the
home town (
Alice Springs).
