Came across the site ...youcamp.com...that lists privately owned land available across aust for paid camping,anyone tried it,thought it would be of interest to travellers...

pepper, it has the chance of being a good site, but has a long long way to go. I searched and searched and despite the map showing lots of sites for each state, when you zoom in there is only 1 - 2 sites per state. Also there are many pages to search through but only a couple of real ones. One of the camps is a nudist colony.
Great idea though.
