Happy Birthday!

It sounds like you are using some sort of cleaner. If you are running an auto cleaner to clear history and usage etc, then it will delete your entered data.

You should be able to turn any auto settings off. If you have more than one account, that is more than one person using the PC, you might want to just leave it as is.

Have the same problem.
I recently up graded my IPad software to something 07? at the recommendation of Apple. Have had nothing but trouble ever since.
Now always have to log in with pass word and email address.

Same again... You probably have an auto cleaner running.

Login details are stored as cookies.

"something 07" is not enough info to know where your cookie setting are. They will be in your internet options. You will just have to take a look around and turn the cookie blocker off.

But if you also have some sort of cleaner running, you will also need to turn that off too, or tweek it's settings to allow cookies.

Just to clarify It was iOS 7.
Cheers
PS Took the IPad back to Apple and explained my problem, they said to take it home and ". "download" all my information, Hema maps etc , and bring it back. This may fix the problem! As yet I have not done this.
Cheers

That sounds to me as though they do not know how to fix it. They want you to back up all your info, so they can re-install the operating system.

I am not familiar with Apple, but it should have a cookie blocker that you can turn off.

I had the same problem. It is caused by the installing of the iOS7 update.

iOS 7 removed the private browsing option from the "settings" section.

Instead, open up Safari and tap on the address bar as if you were to type in a website address. As the keyboard comes up, the "private" setting is on the left side on top of the keyboard. Tap the button to toggle it on or off.

All is then well. As you open each new application from now on you will be prompted to say whether you want your password etc stored.

Hi Guys and girls, I too have had nothing but troubles since I did the Apple upgrade(?) to this 107 thingo. I used to get my wife to buy a book on her kindle then transfer it to my IPad. When I tried it last week not only did it not transfer the book purchase but I can,t even get the Kindle site on my IPad to open up, and it seems to have lost all my Kindle library. I don,t pretend to be very smart but for Christi's sake when are these computer whiz bangs going to write stuff for us grey heads to understand.
For the record I got my " switched on " daughter to have a look and it's got her stuffed also. Made me feel a bit good about that !!
Cheers

Hallelujah !! After having a computer nerd spend a couple of hours trying to sort out the problem, costing many dollars, success at last. Contacted Apple shop, they had no solution, rang Apple help, again no success. Finally my nerd expert got on to a net site and a guy in the states, who also like many others who had the problem came up with the remedy. Don't ask me for the exact details but It is now fixed
Cheers
