My Place Rating: My Rating 2/5

We are here for a wedding and reception at the adjacent Abbey Beach Resort. If we could climb the fence it'd be only 100m away.
As for Amblin it is a very well kept and clean park. The ablutions are spotless and well equiped. The scattering of trees throughout the park mean that it has charcter and shape, rather than the organized, uniform parks you can come across. It is a long, narrow park, and means that it is very tight for those of us with bigger rigs. Despite being informed of our size, we were still booked into a pitch that was too small. Extremely friendly and helpful staff though did not wait till we went to see them and came to us and found us another pitch. Setting up could be a problem when really busy if you are on the larger side. You must be constantly aware of the narrow roadways and many leaning trees.
Access onto beach is great. Beautiful white sand stretching as far as the eye can see. For those less intrepid, there is a heated indoor pool. Which is a nice size. In truth, possibly a little too warm, but then we all have different likes for temprature.
Our only gripe would be the constant drone from Abbey Beach's airconditioners. They go all the time and are pretty loud. A more substantial barrier between the properties would probably help.
You can walk along the road or the beach front to supermarket and various shops which are located 400m towards Bussellton town centre.
It is difficult for us to rate this park, as we've been to some that are really nice and have plenty of space. We will mark this one down, purely on the fact that when busy, it would be far to cramped for us. However please be informed that the place is very clean, well kept and the chalets are also immaculate, should you have friends that would like to catch up but don't camp.
