After the threads posted re Roo Systems I recieved an email to call Glen Hadden owner of Roo systems to discuss my issues. I called and he was out but he promptly called me back and discussed my dealings with his company. He was disgusted with what I told him and apologised for the stuff around.
Apparently people I dealt with during this time are no longer there and he has worked out some options with me, something I wasn't expecting.
Thanks to Glen for his prompt response , restores some faith in the system.
Regards Jim

Hi Jim I believe forums have a fair bit of pull as a marketing tool for most companies as word of mouth is very powerful and can be costly to fix should it be adverse.I also had an issue with roos systems albeit they were only the suppliers and there agents had done the shody job but eventually I threatened to go on to every
forum possible low and behold also got a call from Glen Hadden probelm sorted that day.I guess the old saying "it,s hard to get good help" rings true for all companies

Thanks for posting that Jim. Sometimes the actual owners don't know there is a problem until they get the news third hand. Their agents/employees tend to hush them up to cover their own butts probably. It would be tough running a business while you're in a V8 Cruiser axle deep in mud on a Roothy video. :-) Still, I wouldn't mind that job...

Thanks for the followup Roadking,
It is always good to hear a business owner thinks enough of his clients and his reputation to go the extra yards.
It takes a long time and a lot of hard work to get a good reputation as
well as a lot of money. Some fool employee with a couldn't care less attitude can undo all that in a matter of months, sometimes even less time.
It is good to remember, the customer is paying the bills and wages, not the boss. The boss merely gets to sign the checks and do the worrying.
Great that Glen Hadden saw your complaint and got back to you to find a resolution for you.
Well done Glen Hadden.
Cheers, Bruce.

Perhaps it would be prudent to post your outcome on your previous post as
well as someone searching archives would not know the satisfactory result.

So easy to blame someone else who doesn't work there anymore..... or a faulty computer system LOL.
The buck stops at the boss and it's the boss who hires bad people in the first place...... employees can make or break a companies reputation..... again it reverts back to the boss. NO EXCUSES!
Good that you had a response and wonder how much your original post had to do with the change of heart.

OK - This appears to have slipped through the net - two threads on the same subject.
In future please continue a discussion in the original thread as apposed to starting a new one. As you can now see we have comments on both making it hard to follow. This thread will now be locked. All comments to the original thread from now on (i.e. don't start another new one) - Thanks.
Cheers
