I will be driving through Warwick next week and have found to places to stop just out of Warwick,Glendon camping ground and Leslie dam,anybody stayed at these places and if so which would you choose.

Hi Humback,
Never been to either site but I have now penciled them in for future reference.

I just had a look at the website for each of the places you mention and both look pretty good. Being in the ranges means they will be cooler than the inland flat country and so should be even better at this time of the year.

Just through their a few weeks back and wish I had tried them out instead of the dams up near Kingaroy and Eidsvold, They were too dam warm and mildly unpleasant.

We have been to both places & prefer Glendon as it has a more "bush feel" about it & doesn't have any near the number of people frequenting it. Having said that Leslie is very nice but can be quite busy around weekends. Good facilities & more structured at Leslie.
