I am towing our
Jayco Expanda 14.44.4
with my
Jeep Grand Cherokee
I would like some advice before considering purchasing a dual hitch
Dual Hitch System
or
Expanda Bike Rack
Would anyone recommend which one?
I already have a bike carrier which attaches to the tow ball already which is capable of carrying 3 bikes.
If you do recommend the dual hitch, my other concern is turn space. With the bike protruding towards the caravan, is there a problem turning with these on also?
Thanks in advance.

It depends on the quality of your bikes and where you will be travelling. I made the decision to put my bikes on the roof of my car. They stay cleaner, you know where they are, does not restrict turning and does not add too much to wind drag. If you already have roof racks for cargo, then ignore. I have always resisted attaching my bikes to the van.

Thanks for replies. I have decided to go with the expands hitch. I will let you know how it hides in a few months, first trip with it, in the holidays. I have roof racks, which my bike will go on, the kayak on the other side, and the kids and wife bikes at the back of the caravan. :)
