Hi, i'm looking to buy a 93-95 nissan pathfinder. Its going to be my first 4WD.
What's peoples opinion on the model and age pathfinder?

Any common faults i should look for?

Thanks Matt

Gidday there Matt,

I have a 92 Terrano, same thing just a diesel version and couldn't be happier with it. It does have it's ground clearance problems when you're all loaded up but, if you are aware of that when traversing problem areas it's not something to be concerned about.

Problems are few with the Pathfinder, and keep in mind I don't know anything about your motor, look for rust around the wheel arches and uneven wear on the front tyres. That's about it Matt. If you are kooking for an extreme use fourby look at something else. If you want something that will do medium duty with ease, then a Pathfinder will do anything that a medium duty fourby will, Pajero, Musso, Jackaroo, that sort of thing. The only advantage that the Jack and Paj will have over you is ground clearance. And in most situations, smart driving will get you around or through those areas.

Cracka.
