Can any one tell me the condition of the road between the Lynd
Junction and
Hughenden please. Towing 17ft poptop with navara v6 petrol

Last DTMR report, on 4/12/13, says it's restricted to 4WD only, due to slippery conditions.
Report will be revised on 6th, but it hasn't happened yet.
I'd be very hawky about travelling that road lately, and even more so with a van. Better to go down the Kennedy Dev road to the Towers, following the bitumen. Local bloke told me he was up there(
Hughenden-Lynd) in October, and there is a lot more bitumen now than there was when I went up there, 3-4 years ago.
Suppose if you were caught at a creek somewhere, you'd have somewhere to sleep..............unless the 'van was in said creek.
Maybe you could ring
Lyndhurst Station? They would have a better idea than anyone.
