G'day there all,

My brother is looking for some new 12volt pumps and came across this brand, and in particular this model that he is interested in.

SEAFLO SFDP1-030-055-42

Anybody had an experience (good or bad) with this brand as regards performance and reliability and longevity?

He tends to run them for a fairly long time, when he uses them.

Any comments gratefully accepted.

Thanks

Tony

Hi wozzie. I'm not familiar with that one but I do know that there are a lot of el cheapo c**p pumps available. I have a preference for Jabsco which have rarely let me down in over 45 yrs of using them. Designed for marine use they have quality impellors and that is what usually goes bung first. Purchased the last one ( for a herbicide spray tank ) from BCF and very reasonably priced. Cheers.

Hey wozzie I was talking about a different type of pump and not the 12v ones which have a diaphragm and inbuilt pressure switch. The recommendation for Jabsco stand though.
