This is pretty much a repeat but . . .

Anyone going to be in the NW Tasmania between now and early January? There are some "interesting" tracks up around Arthur River where single solo vehicles are not permitted. Either email me at vk1pj@bigpond.net.au or send me a message through this site. The Balfour and Climes tracks look interesting. I have particular dates in mind but prefer to keep to myself until my son commits to looking after the house. Kids!!!!!

Balfour Track about 3 weeks back
Climes Track (I think!)

Phil.

I will be arriving off the boat on the 3rd and turning right towards Stanley.
Intend on staying at Arthur river on either the 3rd or the 4th then heading into that area. I spoke to the ranger in Arthur river and he said to drop in before we go in.....as the area does get closed down without notice.
We will be solar travellers with an offroad trailer, with plenty of remote travel experience.

Looks like we get on the boat that you get off. That's what I call perfect planning. Just joking Brett

Our first stop is at the Pieman rangers office. Camping there for three nights. We got the same invite to drop in.

PS Wave as you get off if you see a 100 series with roof top.

The first stop is at the Arthur River rangers office. I will get an update then.

And may even find someone at the camp ground who is going to try the tracks. A walk with a can does wonders.
