EOTopo 200k today on USB, all ozf4 maps installed good except WA, starts copying then when only 4.87MB left install freezes and wont continue, USB becomes hot. Also cannot read the legend or any of the text documents. Otherwise very happy with detail of maps that I can open.

That is not good - our first USB failure. Do you specifically need the WA map at this stage? The OZF4 whole country is the best if your device supports it. The reason I ask is that if you are not in a hurry then wait for the next update release at which time we will simply swap over the USB for a new one. If you need the file please simply let us know and we will arrange a new USB to come out now? (Email: adele@exploroz.com if you need a replacement now).
As for the missing files I can email them to you if you wish (the WA file is just too large to email or send).

Hi David
Just my luck to be the first. Don't really need the WA map for the forseeable future as the whole country map is working
well.
As for the other files how do they work within oziexplorer or are they just a read only file?

They are basically copies of the content from the tabs on the
EOTopo article page. The name search file is for Ozi however so see if you can read that.

Thanks David
The name search works
well in Ozi but all I see on the text documents, ie Description, Licence & Copyright and Technical, are rows of ý . The legend png image wont load at all.

I have also copied the ozf and name files to my Ozi. They all work fine. But, like G105HZ, I also don't know where to put the legend.png file so that Ozi sees it when I'm in the map and press the "Legend" button.
Or is it there purely as a reference and not intended to be "integrated" into Ozi?

Just back in the office today - these files are for reference only and you can print/read/ignore them as you require. They do not load in Ozi.
