We are planning a trip
Windorah to Innaminka via Planet Downs Arrabury Road then
Bore track to Bollards lagoon amd on to
Lyndhurst. Then
Oodnadatta trak to
Marla then
Kulgera to Finke to
Chambers Pillar to Dalhousie and across the Simpson.
We arrive
Windorah around
Easter Monday and cross the Simpson May 4 to May 9.
What are the chances of doing this trip given the current wet ground around the Cooper and Diamantina??
How long does it take to dry out?

David,
I would imagine that you would do most of that without problems at the time you are suggesting.
Current road information is available from Transport SA far north road report. Do a search under transport SA and it should show up. It won't tell you about all of what you want to do but is does cover most of the area and you should be able to work the rest out by looking at what info is there.
You could also contact the
Birdsville Caravan Park. Ruth should be able to give good advice on what is happening. She does contribute to this
forum from time to time.
Came through that area in October had a great time
Hope you do to
Duncs
