Have just got back from a couple of days in the National Park. Like others I was seriously disappointed by the quality of the roads - particularly on the eastern side of the park. I wouldn't recommend coming in from Hopetoun; its just no fun. Rather I'd run off the highway at Ravensthorpe via Moir Road. Although you miss some of the coastal vistas, its a much better run and tips you out just near the access tracks to Quion Head and Whale Bone Beach.

Tracks west of Moir Track are in pretty good nick in fact Devils Creek Road near West Mt Barren was being graded as we ran through last Thursday.

Safe travelling

Steve,

What blew me away was that all of the roads in and out were really good. It was only the roads in the national park which shook the fillings and gave the suspension a real workout.

The trip was brilliant thanks. I just can't wait to get back to work tomorrow!
