G'day!
Has anybody got any up to date info on the new 4WD track between
Kalbarri and
Steep Point?
I was at S P a couple of years ago and will be back there during August. Would really love to do that track rather than driving along the blacktop.

thanks for your replies.
In the meanwihle I also received the following from the
Kalbarri Tourism office:
"The road that you mentioned from
Steep Point is a private road and runs
through
Murchison House Station so I suggest that you contact them for
permission to use it. They can be contacted by phone on 9937 1110 or by fax on 9937 1699."

There is no mention of such a track there, but they now collect a $100 refundable levy.
