Craig I have heard that, but have not done it. I have also heard that because of the centres the LC will go onto the Patrol but not the other way around. Wheel offsets are different between the two also, so a LC rim on a Patrol will make the track wider. I have been bush with someone who has done this with aftermarket LC wheels, but I would speak personally to someone who has done it.

The Patrol has the same 6 stud pattern as the 60/75/80 series cruiser and hilux (the 100 series went to a 5 stud pattern). You can physically fit a cruiser wheel to a nissan , but you'll have problems fitting a patrol wheel to a cruiser due to the different offset. Putting cruiser wheels on a patrol would give it a wider track, but may not be legal.

Craig,
You are being led astray with some of these answers to your question.
The stud pattern is the same as the Toyota but the hub centre on the Toyota is smaller. The Toyota wheels will not fit on your Nissan, the hub centre is too small. Nissan wheels will fit on your Toyota hubs though. This I know from practical experience, GU patrol and 80 series Toyota.

That`s great news , because I obtain some Hilux rims from a mate for my trailer, this could have caused me dramas out bush ( I would have said F#@&n Bugger ) if I got a couple of flats on the towing Vehicle ( Nissan).
