Unfortunately the unmaintained Cooloola Way "track" is now a closed road. The road is now blocked and gated. The reasons cited for the closure are: rubbish dumping, public using the roadside as a
toilet, two wheel drive vehicles ignoring signs and becoming stranded, no funding for maintenance. Apparently there is no intention of reopening the road. If and when I can get more information on the closure, I'll post it here.
