Hi All

Interested to know where might be a good spot to go in Victoria for free camping on the long weekend? Few spots i have heard of are Bear Gully, Turtons Creek, Maritz/Cemetery Bend, Anywhere along the Murray. Would be taking camper trailer, 2 young kids age 3 and 5 and the dog.

Bourkes Bend no 3 on the Murray, google those exact words for its location.

2favourites for us are: Christies Beach just out of Echuca,a fab campsite on Murray River AND Plantation Camp Site just out of Hall Gap.This is also a fabulous campsite. Johno

Ulupna Island on the Murray.
Great spot , but the Koalas were a bit noisy during the night , it was spring and the usual antics were happening.

Mount Disappointment is an amazing spot. Lots of room for kids to play, little creek runs through, toilets, and nice walks. Had 2 weeks there in Feb 2013.
