I am thinking of driving from Broke inlet to
Northcliffe via the above roads but can't find much information about road conditions. I believe there is a
river crossing at Gardner River. Will be in a 4WD so gravel/dirt roads don't worry me too much but don't want to take too long . I don't mean I will be speeding but just short of time. If it looks like it will take too long will go via blacktop and leave this route for another time.
Has anyone got any up to date info?
Thanks

Been 12 mths or so since I was down there but the tracks are good and the Gadner Rv
creek crossing has never been deeper than 300mm deep the number of times I've crossed it. The main track into Broke Inlet can be a bit soft so let your tyres down.
Cheers

You should have no sweat. I doubt gardner river would have any water in it this time of year. But the sand will be soft, so deflating will be needed. Goodluck!

I was there last week. Chesapeake Rd is closed at Gardner river. Had to use Deeside Rd. A very picturesque drive through the Karri forests

Closed due to the unsafe
bridge but there is a shallow ford somewhere there. Perhaps that's Deeside Rd.

The
bridge is closed and the 'ford' on the other track is washed out, probably 2 meters deep (bone dry). If coming from Broke inlet along Chesapeak Rd, turn right at Deeside Rd (between Fish creek and
Moores hut turnoffs) and travel North for about 30k's through the Karri Forest until you hit a tee
junction. Turn left and follow the road for about 28k's and you'll end up in
Northcliffe.
