Review: Maitland Showground

We stayed at the Maitland Showgrounds in SA 11-13 January 2014. Absolutely fabulous place and well set up. I counted 16 power and water sites at $15 a night and there are unpowered sites available as well. The caretaker comes around in the afternoon and you just pay as you go. Even tho it was the height of summer there were only 3 other rigs present so we each spread out around the sheds of which there are plenty. Great showers and toilets. There is one big shade structure (like a shed without walls) which was excellent to get a caravan under as you then had shade all day. Dogs are permitted - usual rules apply.
