Hey there
Recently purchased a second hand cub camper and can not open the
water tank, it unlocks but then spins, just wanted to
check how it actually opens before applying a lot of force!
Thanks in advance

Once unlocked, push it in quite firmly and then turn it anti-clockwise.

G, day Amanda,
My cub
water tank cap spins when locked, unlock then push in and turn, it can be quite stiff to turn anticlockwise.
Cheers

Hi
John,
I was having the same problem as Amanda with the
water tank cap on my Aussie Swag camper trailer. We don't use it very often so when I used it last week I just assumed that it was unlocked when it was spinning freely. Just went out and did what you said and hey presto, cap came off! Like yours it was quite hard to turn anticlockwise.
Thanks heaps!
Leanne
ps I hope this works for the op too.

If the issue is a rubber seal on the cap sticking to the filler in the CT, as it is with
mine, a spray of silicon based lubricant (from Bunnings or other hardware stores) or better if you have it, a light smear of silicon-based O ring grease works wonders.
Vaseline would also work, but can affect some types of rubber.
Cheers
