Looking at ordering small Crusader van tomorrow. He wants woodgrain & she thinks we should go with the fashionable white with some contrast. Those of you that have white interiors, would you have it again & is it reasonably easy to keep clean ?

White everytime for me.
What other people think of me is none of my business.

Woodgrain is good in that it is easier to mask/remove/repair marks and damage if intending to sell the van after a few years.
I'd go for white as it makes the interior lighter and is also "timeless" where the woodgrain ages.

Hi Pimbi,

We have woodgrain look, not too dark, and we are still trying to get rid of the red dust from our last foray into western Qld.
God forbid it was white.

A friend just bought a new Patriot and it is all white, black and red, including the glass splash backs in the kitchen.
It certainly looks good, but I am glad I am not the one trying to keep it clean.

So if it is mainly going to be used as a caravan park, sealed road tourer, then the white does look good.
Good luck with the negotiations.

White every time, but please do some research with caravan repair shops before you order a Crusader, have a friend with a caravan repair shop and he steered us well away from them, there a lot of vans out there with better build quality.

Ross,

Not quite on the topic, but we are Crusader owners, X-Country. The build etc. is fine. The warranty service is excellent.

We have owned 3 vans, the first a well known model everyone rubbishes and we found it excellent. The second was a supposed 'good' maker and we would never recommend them as we had to do far too much work at our own expense to get it to be a good van. No such issues with Crusader. We also went over their factory before buying; all fine.

To keep it on topic, we have the light wood and light laminex to make the van seem more open as our is the smallest X-Country Van.

Hi Pimbi

white every time for us, the white is normally done with laminate and is easy to clean while the woodgrain is a paper finish and will wipe off and scuff

We went for white as it makes the inside look larger and lighter.

Perhaps the visual comparison with our Evernew E900.
We believe in the wood grain that does not show the dust as much and in our opinion holds aging appeal. Certainly the go if you are to be off the beaten track.

Your decision of course.
