Windorah is one of three towns in the Barcoo Shire in south-west Queensland, Australia. It is named after the local Aboriginal word for "Big Fish".

Great town with friendly people. Good services for travellers like dump point, fresh water, $2 hot shower etc. Good free camping on the Cooper Creek about 6km out of town. Outback pub.
