Don't see why not. I have seen Subaru's in there.

The best way in would be via West Buffalo Road from Myrtleford.

I was in there 2 weekends ago. Zeka a bit rough in parts, but spoke to someone who came in via north track (Mytleford, Lake Buffalo) and he said it was easy. I brought my first 4by, a Suzuki Stockman (totally stock, bar treads) in that way and went out via the old Hern Spur track (since closed) years ago. If you have clearance and let tyres down you shouldn't have any problems.

Some one told me going in mount Howitt was good, I gather he meant from Mansfield.

Going in over Howitt High Plains is usually through Licola.

Yes I'd agree, going in from Howitt to me means going in fromLicola down Zeka spur tk. This I wouldn't recommend in your stock vehicle, stick with Buffalo and don't even remotely consider Hern Spur in your std vehicle.

Your right there Travis22 about Hern Spur. The Sabaru's that were in the Gatta went up the spur. We met them at the bottom as we came down. We got into the valley set up camp and could still hear them on the radio still trying to get up Hern Spur. They must have made it as we never saw them come back into the valley.

West buffalo rd, you'll have no troubles. Just be careful crossing the wonnangatta river, it's usually fine with a clean entrance and exit but coming over the hill you might as we'll stop for a minute and let your brakes, diffs, trans etc cool a bit and get out and have a look at the crossing.

We were in there 2 weeks ago, in Zeka out Buffalo. Zeka's getting rougher but it's ok however you'll want a lift kit and some good bash plates and Buffalo was easy as always.
