Hi Twinkles, try: getting it up on a frame and drive under?- use a lifting device ( chain block, hand winch puller, engine lifter, 4 big mates, levering system, pulleys, 4wd winch, etc).. att to carport roof beam and crank it up. again, need ute underneath. align by hand-eye co-ordination. try making up some wedges to use as guides and slide unit in.
good luck.

Patience and practise, practise ,practise. Also grab some tape put it on the cab end of the slideon so it lines up with the outside of the tray, open the driver's door hang out of the vehicle while reversing and lining up the tape.

forgot to add, grab some of that tape and stick some on the rear of the slideon where the tray should appear and check that it lines up, now the tray should line up with both bits of tape and you know it is square.
Took me some frustration to get it right but now can do it within a couple of mm in 2 or 3 attempts.
If you get some one to help you you can push on the side of the slideon while lowering it to get it in the perfect position

+1 for the tape on the front of the camper at the edges of the tray. When I had one. I also found it easier to not worry too much about lining it up till it was on the tray, then used 6" pipe sections as rollers and a pinch bar to manouver it into place, then lift it up, remove the rollers and drop it into place.
