Joe,Mel and tribe,
Yes! It looks like the flooding will be the worst problem at the moment, if the blow continues to be predictable.
That also means no trucks north if the roads are cut, both inland and on the coast. That will limit supplies to the shops as usual. Many of the trucks won't go further west to deliver, as they are not paid for the trip, and I don't blame them.
For the western parts of Qld, I hope you get some of this rain if it comes.
I just picked up 50l of fuel for the Genny, just in case.
J,M & K I know you guys will be
well stocked up due to your location.

Hi Joe, Mel, & kids,
I just looked on BOM and it looks like most of the Cape will get between 5mm to 50mm a day for the next 5 days. No tropical low as yet so just might be a large rain storm, stay safe and dry.
Cheers Andy

I recently came across this
earth wind map. Its updated every few hours - click on "earth" on the map to see winds at different altitudes etc, scroll to zoom in and out. Interesting to see if you can predict cyclones and to see the patterns change.
Cheers,
Val.
