Has anyone needed to replace the zip slider on their flymesh entry door? If so where can I get a replacement slider. It has two double pull non locking zippers, so it can be opened from either side whether inside or outside the door. If we have too we will have to make do with the otherside slider but I guess eventually that one will wear out too.

Our canvas repairer cannot supply but wondered where else I can source one. I think I can identify which one it it on the YKK website but dont want to source overseas as not absolutely certain that its the right one.

I have replaced several & never had a problem sourcing them from canvas repairers.

The size code is on the end of the slider on YKK.
They are always AFAIK "C" for continuous ( not shown) and usually there will be a "9" on the sllider so C10.
This is the size on my Camp"o"matic and I have bought from US on ebay and recently non OEM double sided slider from Melbourne on ebay.

There are 2 different types of zips, Usually doors & screens use spiral zips, if you don't want to have to unpick & restitch stitching you can use one of these, they are also very handy to carry as spares:FIXnZIP

Any chance that you could reply & acknowledge that you have read your replies??

Thanks for your responses guys. Its a nylon type, spiral zip and I can now see the tiny number on the Zip - its 5NO - which should be helpful when I can locate a supplier. We live in Mt Gambier S.A. Its easily removed off the zip by removing a simple fabric cover over the end of the zip. I just need to locate somewhere (dont have Paypal and hesitant to order offshore) to order a replacement and maybe a couple of spares as the flyscreen on the front of the tent has the same zipper arrangement.

They are only $2.60 or so each for goodness sakes so what is there to lose other than $10 or so?
