Hi Guys,

Thinking of doing Fraser Island in the June July school holidays, just wondering what the weather and temperatures are like that time of year. Your comments and experiences would be much appreciated.

Hi Locker

Cool nights and warm days. Best time for beach camping IMHO. Weather is normally fine, and probably westerly winds - which means that the eastern beaches are relatively calm.

Cheers

Chris

Can be a bit chilly if there's a breeze coming through camp as you are not allowed to have a fire.
Also a bit chilly for swimming ... but as the others say, generally very nice indeed.

We went there 2 yrs ago during winter and stayed at Dilli Village..

If I went again in winter, I would definately do the same again....because at Dilli you can have fires....a must in winter as the temps were down to approx 4 deg...freezing !!!

Daytime temps and weather were good though..
