For those who may have missed the story of RM and his family on ABC's Family Confidential last night, here is a link to
the story.

A million thanks Allan.
I totally forgot about it and as an avid Australian Historian, I'd kick myself if I didn't watch this.
Cheers.

Thanks Fab.
Having planned to watch it on TV, I also actually missed it.
Learned a bit too. Knew a fair bit about RM but not about his family. It was very interesting.

Many thanks Alan - heard it was on but was out camping for a few days and missed it - anything on Reginald Murray is a must in our house. Met him once, been to his boyhood hometown, visited his Percy street bushmans outfitters store and like many I wear his boots, belts and clobber. Even saw his early mate Dollar Mick's grave at
Leigh Creek.....crikey.....help.....I obviously need counseling.

I laid some cork tiles in his house in Hodgsenvale QLD back when I was a 1st year apprentice. Lunch would last for 2 hours as we sat & listened to some incredible stories. He was just updating his living room & bathroom. House must have been 40 years old and still very modest. Man like that can teach a lot without telling you a thing. He is also a very good leather worker- dad has a 10' kangaroo hide stock whip RM gave to him for some extra work we had to do.
He also offered me a job looking after his horses.... but I was working for my father at the time and didn't want a conflict of interest!

Do you reckon that that is one step too close, Lynn?
Cheers

Thanks Allan, I also forgot and only caught the last 2 seconds.
I was kicking myself also so your link is timely.
Many thanks, Bruce.
