hello looking at getting sat TV for my van and camping ..any one have any good systems out there ..ones to look at and the ones to stay away from ..

Have a look at Satgear, Satplus and Access Antennas.
Systems are much of a muchness. Get an 85cm dish and a programmable digital in line sat finder. I find a solid tripod preferable to a triangular base type of dish mount.

Hi there,
We have used vansat in the past good after sales if needed. Need to update to vast
Decoder which We Havnt done as yet.

Boxed HD, I see you are located in Victoria, Then I suggest you go and see Satplus. I have bought several items from them and Philip is most helpful .Satplus Victoria

G'day Rod,

I second the recommendation for Satplus in Edithvale. Philip spent a lot of time helping us choose a system and got back to us straight away. Home system was a piece of cake to install (if you're a handyman) and the portable one is even easier, just a little bulky if you're tent camping.
