Track Tanami Rd to Christmas Creek?

Hi all

In 2012 we travelled on a track that turns off the Tanami Rd to the Weat approximately 20 km north of Billiluna. This track was good up to Shiddy Creek where we had to return because being limited in time.

Where does this track continue to and what is it like? Does it still connect to Christmas Creek and if so, what permits are needed? Unfortunately the newest Goggle-Earth map of this section is from 2006 where the track is only faintly visible.

Yes it does go all the way to Christmas Creek but is totally dependant on weather conditions. Cheers

What a great track, I too have only traveled up as far as the creek in 2011. Make sure you go and visit the rockpools in the Mount Bannerman Range, you wont be sorry.

Thanks for the nice images. This certainly is a place worth visiting.

In 2012 we tried to find your tracks unsuccessfully. If possible we will have another go.
