We purchased ours from TJM.
3 sectioned mast/poles (male and female screw ons) are fibreglass and the base is a snap on stainless, having said that, the bearings corrode due to the snap on and off process, I just lube it with CRC every time it sticks. As far as the base externals and the connecting pole bases go, they oxidise when in salty conditions to the point I could not attach poles together for the mast because of to much oxidisation. Nothing a wire brush and CRC wont fix.

My apologies that it has taken a while to reply, the manufacturer has been away at a trade show. The base is indeed Stainless Steel, and the pole itself is fibreglass (as per the item description).
