Hi, we are just in the planning stages of selling our house and travelling around Australia for 12 months or so with our 4
young children. Just wondering if any of you are Travelling Mechanics? If so how successful have you been working your way around? Thinking of registering myself as a mobile mechanic but unsure of the demand whilst travelling. Is casual work hard to find?

Richard.
You will have no trouble getting work. Most towns have a shortage of mechanics. The good ones go to the mines or the large cattle stations. The bush grape vine is very effective, If you do a few good jobs you will have people chasing you. Eric
