Went past the free
camp site just east of rosedale early this morning and there were 2.5 million campers there, came back about 2 hours later a few had left. went past at about 11.30am and the
camp was vacant. But more importantly even though half the humans on the known planet were camping there the place was clean, and almost untouched. from the rest of us free campers THANK YOU. we need more of you guys . past back again at about 3pm and was already filling up.
Cheers warren

Hi Warren, great to see some campers leave the
places they
camp very clean. We have been to many camps in the last 7 months that were left in a disgusting state. Yesterday Sunday at The King Jarrah tree in WA we saw what French fruit pickers left in a non camping site. They were packing tents away when we arrived so do not know if they had camped for a day or more. Two big plastic bags of rubbish, at least they cleaned up the site but drove off and left all of their rubbish. They told us where they were from and how much an hour they were earning. We thought that the rubbish was being placed in
bins. Saw later - no
bins, just overflowing black plastic bags left for birds & animals to enjoy. In
Darwin at a caravan park we saw what French backpackers left the
camp kitchen like.

There is a Rosedale in Vic, a Rosedale in NSW and a Rosedale in Qld - so which is it - please don't assume we all know where you are talking about.
Cheers

Gday Garry
If there were 2.5 million people in Rosedale , it would be the one in Victoria. A very nice
camp spot near the river . I have looked at
the spot many times , but never stopped as
home is only an hour or so away.

Not sure if it would even that one, Muz?
Later on the OP says " half the
population of the known planet", so I'd suggest it's either the Rosedale in downtown Bombay, or maybe the one just to north of Beijing :-)
Bob.

Stayed overnight at this spot (Rosedale - VICTORIA !) a couple of months back. A very nice place. Maybe 5 vehicles there - tops !! A fantastic
free camp that was spotless as
well. The council even provides portable
toilets that were as clean as a whistle.
