Satellite phone Battery

Today I received a new Battery for our Motorola Iridium 9500 the battery purchased NSW on line, Works ok but upon checking the charge the phone tells me Invalid Battery!! Book tells me this is un authorised Battery will discharge but will not recharge.
Question has any body had the same problem ?

We purchased a cheapie from ebay a couple of years ago for a 9505a and all good.
Contact the seller for an explanation.

I also bought a cheapie on ebay for our 9500, still working ok after about 5 years.

Thanks for the replies, contacted the supplier says it must be a one off and to return it. on the box it says for a 9505 I questioned them on that but they say its the same battery for both I think I will just pay the $155.00 And buy a genuine one. Ouch! Leaving in 10 days time so don't want to be without if they are late sending a replacement.
