We're in the middle of planning our 4 month trip from Melbourne to the Kimberley and the Gulf. We're trying to find a bit of information about the Cobourg Peninsula and the National Park up there and whether it's worth the journey and permit fee. Any search I've done only turns up info from 5 years ago or more.

I was hoping someone with recent experience of a visit and stay at the campground there could offer some insight.

glad to hear it had the info you were after..... i read the title of your thread and thought the name of the place sounded vaguely familiar for some reason, so did a quick search on Overlander forum and was correct in thinking Joe went there last year.
