Sound quality - uhf with speaker in the microphone

Hi all,
I'm considering the ICOM IC-440N 80 Channel UHF CB Radio which has the speaker built into the microphone.
Does anyone have any experience with this unit? Is the sound quality ok?

I have one. No complaints. You can install a remote or extension speaker if you wish.

I have the same unit and its a very clear reception. The thing i dont like about the unit is the squelch. No matter how i have it set, numbers 1-9 min setting or max setting, if the talker is far away his signal cuts in and out. Very frustrating to listen to. Where as with the GME units you either hear them or you dont.

I have one and the speaker quality is great - it's loud and clear.
