Not too sure what sort of input you're after. Its been a while since we were out the but we did a blog about it that might help. You can read it
here. I expect there would be even more mining activity now. Its partly black soil country so if there is any rain it will get sticky very quickly.

Hi Ed,
Been a few years since I went through there as
well, Its a great drive though, not very difficult, as long as it has not rained.
The track can be difficult to follow due to all the track around the gas wells. If you are using Oziexplorer for mapping I can email you the plot file I recorded on the way through which may help.
