Hi Johno

If you know what you are doing, the Simpson is far from a hard drive and any of those vehicles that you mentioned will take it in their stride.

The only problems will be caused by the driver and what pressures he has set the tyres to.

Cheers

johno,

Any of the vehicles that you are considering, diesel, high clearance, proper 4wd.

The driver will determine how well the vehicle gets through the desert, (fuel economy, comfort, and what footprint is left)

Wayne I agree. Any one of them will do but I thought I would also make an observation about the accusation about the repeating comment. It's not just air and that was what Wayne was alluding to.

And after typing it in I think that I will move the bulk of it to a new thread. No idea what I will call it yet

A snorkel is readily available for the D.Max, we get around 15LP100 towing our 2.5 ton van and about 10LP100 with out. We have travelled 55000 Ks in 18 months with out any problems.
