Ross & Gail,

From my understanding this app uses Memory-Map so you would get the Memory-Map version and this should load straight away. When you run the app is it based on the Memory-Map engine? I really think this is the case.

I'm also running Hema 4wd maps on an iPad so I checked with the Memory Map folks first. They said to make sure you get the treks download directly from their web page, which I did and they loaded fine into the app on my iPad. So yes - they do work with Hema 4WD Maps on an iPad.
Still waiting for an IOS version of Ozi though, sigh!!

Re my previous post, it's the Etopo maps you have to get from the Memory Map web site not the Treks files The treks files are GPX files.Mine were delivered by email by Exploroz and you load them into Hema 4WD Maps from an email or via iTunes after unzipping. Sorry for the confusion.
