I'll be first to reply. Fraser Island beaches are designated public roads so that stunt is simply illegal. Why promote your stupidity???

By bad. No harm done, there was hardly anybody around and we were more than 50m from the beach where anyone would drive anyway?
The
ranger that was watching us didn't seem too upset by it.

I've seen loads of people do that on Fraser, mostly at low tide in the evening and they go all the way up the beach. Mikes just old, old people don't know how to have fun anymore as fun involves a risk of some sort.

Would prefer to see that as opposed to
young fools with more money than brains ripping the guts out of the dunes with their flash new muddies.

we did similar on a boys trip to
Moreton Island many, many years back. can't say i'd post up that footage (if we had some) on the net like everyone seems to do these days, as you're bound to get plenty of negative comments from the wowsers. you're not anywhere near others and looks to be you'll only hurt yourself if something goes wrong, and that's called living IMHO.

I remember pulling sons along on Ninety Mile Beach back in 1982. One at a time though and in the edge of the surf. And we used a Kingswood.
Most likely totally illegal now. Things change.

Geez some of the wowsers need to get a life.
They've got nothing better to do than whinge about some one having a bit of fun.
We used to do that years ago on a single water ski.
Never had any injuries or incidents
