Hi all just a new member and heading to charleville for Easter. Previously gone via west wyalong and dubbo but would like to know what the alternate route is like. I have a sport age and won't be towing a tent trailer on this occasion. Your comments will be appreciated. Regards Brian

Try Narrrandera/Griffith/Hillston/Cobar/Bourke. All bitumen and good roads.

Brian,

Last September I went Echuca, Hay, Hillston, Mt Hope, Cobar, Bourke.

Its an effortless and enjoyable drive, but look out for goats if you're driving at night!

I hope you have somewhere booked to stay in Charleville, there is a big reunion on over Easter and I believe that accommodation and camping / caravan sites are at a premium
