Trip to Alice spring

We are a family of three travelling from
Brisbane to Alice Spring in 3 days.

Three days seems a bit difficult. Which route are you planning to take. Will you be camping or towing a van or trailer? We are planning on a trip from
Brisbane to
Alice Springs via the
Plenty Highway but will allow a lot longer than three days. There is a lot to see and do along the way. If you are very short of time there are great
places closer to
Brisbane. Lynne

Oh sorry, I didn't explain myself properly. We start the trip in 3 to 4 days but we don't have a time restriction to get there. It might take a month. We are camping towin a trailer. The route is not decided in stone but the plan is to follow the main off road paths and that includes the
Simpson desert cross, poepple corner etc.
