Brisbane to Alice Springs

Hi there, we are about to start a trip from
Brisbane to
Alice Springs on the 4th of April.
We are a family of three with a camper trailer in tow. We are planning to reach our destination passing through
Cameron corner, Strzelecky desert,
Birdsville, Poepple corner,
Simpson desert and Allitra Tableland. We are pretty self sufficent as we are equipped for long touring.
We will be more than happy to team up with anyone who wants to join this great adventure.
The crossing will be approx one month.

We are doing much the same trip
Alice Springs via
Cameron Corner,
Birdsville,
Boulia and across the
Plenty Highway. We were going to leave last Monday but have postponed it now till the 22nd April the road is cut just out side of
Boulia so decided to wait till the roads dry out a bit.

It's good to ear of other adventurer, it is a very nice part of the world.
Unfortunelly for us the 22nd it's a long way ahead and we can't wait that long. It would have been nice to join you.
When you are on the road, if you see our vehicle on the oztrackme near by, give us a shout, will join you for a beer.

Hi Gabriele do you plan on only going as far as
Alice Springs? We are planning on going over to WA via the
Great Central Road and returning via SA should be a good trip. Are the roads open on your planed route?

We'll, we don't have a plan after Alice Spring, we'll make it up as we go. Your idea sounds great though. I am about to
check the
treks opening so I will let you know. When you were planning to travel?

We leave Yarraman on the 22nd April the route we have planned so far is Yuleba,
Morven,
Quilpie,
Eromanga, Noccundra,
Cameron Corner, Innaminka,
Nappa Merrie,
Birdsville,
Bedourie,
Boulia then across the Donahue/
Plenty Highway to
Alice Springs. We don't believe in travelling too far in a day like to stop to spell the roses so to say. We are lucky that we do not have any time restraints.
