Have you contacted the company to see if they are willing to replace them?
Even if the warranty period has expired, you are still covered.
This section of the law requires that goods be fit for the purposes they are commonly used for, acceptable in appearance and finish, free from defects, safe and durable, all according to the standards of a "reasonable consumer".
The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission's chairman Graeme Samuel says this means that many goods come with a statutory guarantee against the supplier that lasts longer than the manufacturer's warranty.

Have rang the company in regards to the defects and I am waiting for a reply back as to what steps they are going to take to fix the problems.

The anchor straps are consumable parts Graham.
How quick they wear depends on where you anchor them to on the CT, where you store them when not in use & where you use them (ie: wind).
Ours come off & are stored in the shed when not in use. They do wear in the wind though & even through just using them day after day while touring. Just normal wear & tear really.
I started collected the straps on pressure sprayers that I buy for work & they work
well as replacements. You could probably buy something similar for very little cost.
Our CT (not a lifestyle) is 2 years old & is on it's 2nd full set of anchor straps.
Cheers! :)

Sorry its not just the straps it is every were on the tent were there is nylon webbing sewn to the tent. On the roof were they hold the tropical fly on , The floor on each corners and around the floor were there is D rings, On the corners of the roof to tie it down in windy condtions. It is if it has been in the sun for 50years and just rotted away. You touch it and it just goes to dust in your hands,Keep in mind that this tent is only 16 months old.
